Orientation starts, but....
Today's the start of pre-orientation. The new students go there, have some free food, and listen to presentations. In the afternoon there are some "games", which supposedly make us less sleepy while getting to know the environment.
This afternoon we had one little hunt in which we should group up in teams, go to a few designated spots, pick up question sheets and answer the questions. The questions are related to the campus of course. The three groups with highest points will get a secret prize.
So we ran around in campus, answered most questions, and turned in the answer sheet two hours later. We weren't one of the highest three teams unfortunately. Instead, we got the special prize for the most creative team name. It seemed like walking under the sun for two hours was kind of empty.... We could've filled out the sheet and turned it in right away and still got the prize. It's nevertheless a nice program. I visited the gym and health center for the first time today for example.
Just as the new term is going to start, my battle with the boxes is in full swing. They arrived last week, and I've been fighting with them since then. The boxes contains stuff I accumulated over the 4 years during undergraduate time. Most of them are usable living necessities, clothes and notebooks my parents send me, but I never got a chance to use them. In other words, they take a lot of space, but I can't get rid of them. (Look at the pile of stuff on the ground). (Sigh). Well, life will work itself out. I'm sure I can find some good ways out.
